Welcome to Circa Dee where our mission is to inspire home through repurposing, refinishing & reinventing. Learn to give vintage, family heirlooms and found materials a new life when mixing them with modern decor. High style never looked so eco & budget friendly.

Visit our Brick & Mortar shop where we hold occasional sales featuring vintage and upcycled style. You can also find Circa Dee goods at West End Garage in Cape May, NJ; Serendipity in Doylestown, PA; and seasonally at Clover Market.
We also blog weekly here about our love for vintage, upcycled decor, sustainable living, the coast and mother nature to name a few.
More about us…vintage styling & repurposing are my passions. I am a horticulturalist by education, trained floral designer, painter and avid junker. I am self taught in blogging and photography and continue to learn. Typically I can be found behind the camera shooting a vintage vignette or with a paint brush in hand making something old and tired come back to life. But my favorite part of the process is certainly the first step – the hunt for junk! -Dana
While I’m the author and creative force here at Circa Dee, my fiance Ryan is the engineer who makes it go. I typically conceptualize the project and he helps execute it. Our rescue beagle, Wilson, is our sidekick. You could call him the Circa Dee mascot because he is along for each and every project. We are based between the Philadelphia suburbs and Cape May, NJ and currently planning our May 2013 wedding.

In September 2012 Ryan was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. To contribute to MS research and finding a cure, we’ve started a fundraiser donating $1 for every vintage mason jar soap dispenser we sell. You can read more about our cause here.

I hope you’ll be inspired by the laid back Circa Dee lifestyle. Follow along to see the treasures we score; what’s growing in the garden; before and after home projects; vintage wedding styling ideas; and see what Wilson is up to and more musings from the beach to the country and back!

Hi Dana,
I see you’re a Philly/Jersey Shore girl! I grew up in PA and live in north NJ now. Thanks for stopping by and commenting on my Bling Mantel! Glad I found you – love your use of vintage kitchen pieces for planting bulbs.

Hi Dana, I stumbled on your site looking for some info on a meat scale and a fan. You have a very very similar fan listed on this page…

Love your blog Dana and the obvious passion you have for all things vintage. But my fave shot has to be Wilson. I am OBSESSED with dogs and just adore the love and light they bring to our lives. They are like little souls wrapped in fur! We have two mad spoodles and they bring us so much joy! Bec x
