Whew! Totally successful weekend centered around all things vintage, naturally. Saturday, I was a buyer at Brooklyn Flea. (Details coming soon.) And Sunday, I was a seller at Clover Market.
Clover is awesome.
Here’s my lovely side kick, Renee of Poppies and Petals.
She started the day out as a mediocre (at best) fan of vintage style. She ended the day with a new appreciation for all things old & fabulous. I’ve even identified her vintage flavor as “industrial modern”. I’m converting one Pier 1/Ikea/Homegoods shopper at a time…
The next convert of the day was this cute little girl. She immediately enjoyed the new-to-her pint sized park bench from Circa Dee. It was the perfect seat for her to pull up to the live band at the Market. Gotta love it!
Here’s some more eye candy that Circa Dee had in store.
Did you know that yellow really draws people in? It’s such a cheerful color. Hence the lemons. They are so eye catching! Turns out I was wearing yellow too…didn’t even plan it.
Now I have about a dozen lemons lying around. You know what they say…when life gives you lemons make lemonade…and add some sweet tea vodka for an alcoholic twist on the classic Arnold Palmer (a.k.a. John Daly).
The Market will be back in September with 3 fall dates. Now I’ve got all summer to drink Arnold Palmers on the beach re-stock the goods.
