Check your mailbox!  You can tell fall is just around the corner.  I am receiving loads of fall catalogs and mags bursting with cool weather ideas and tons of vintage style.

Flea Market Style‘s fall/winter has hit newsstands.  Did you get your copy yet?  I read mine cover to cover last weekend.  There are so many inspiring projects, article and finds.  In fact some of my favorite bloggers were even featured.  This mag is my all time fave!

Speaking of flea markets, I opened up my latest copy of Lucky magazine to find that the fashion magazine has even devoted a page to the nation’s top fleas.  They highlighted Golden Nugget in NJ and Brooklyn Flea in NY stating that these are some of the go-to’s for vintage, antiques and salvage.  Man, my secret is out!  Remember when I went to Brooklyn Flea in the beginning of the summer?  I loved it!

I also received the latest Restoration Hardware catalog.  It’s the size of a small phone book.  Seriously.  I have a love/hate relationship with RH.  I mean their style is cool.  I dig.  But I loathe how they consistently reproduce antiques and charge an arm and a leg to boot.  Like for realz.

Finding a vintage architect’s stool like this is the ultimate challenge.  Ordering a set of faux vintage stools from a catalog is kinda lame in my opinion.

This room is awesome.  I will say that but there was a note in the catalog that the vintage pages wouldn’t be available until October.  I would assume that means they’re still being printed perhaps?  Do you see the oxymoron here?

RH and other retail stores are good for setting trends in the vintage world though.  Looks like birdcages are sticking around.  I’m not complaining ’cause I love ’em.  I’m also digging the chandy/birdcage combo.  The wheels are turning over here.

Love vintage French linens.  They’re always floating around the blog world but I’m pretty sure the catalog version is not vintage.  Just sayin…

I’m getting ready for a jaunt to the Pocono Mountains to kickstart the fall wedding season!  Three weddings in 4 weeks.  Plus a Key West bachelorette party with these ladies…
