We had a rare October snowstorm here in PA this weekend. I understand that this is not uncommon in other parts of the country but I have no recollection of a Halloween snowstorm in my lifetime. Indulge me for a minute and take a look at this picture of our yard.
Does it say 3 seasons to you?
- Summer in the background because my Beech tree’s leaves have not turned yet.
- Fall with the iconic dried cornstalks that were hugging the lamppost pre storm.
- Winter everywhere! Strange.
The snow was most definitely a damper on my Saturday junking routine. With that said here is all the vintage glory I pulled.
I know. Lame.
So I managed to pick up a gravy boat. Loving that tarnished silver is in now. I have to admit that I would rarely buy something like this. You can tell how slim the pickings were! It is starting to grow on me though. Wouldn’t it be cute with a little plant in it?
Vintage mini trays. Because I have a hard time saying no to cute trays. Especially in a snowstorm.
And my favorite find is this dated vanity stool. It just needs to be recovered. It currently looks like someone used their bedroom comforter to upholster the seat.
I have a feeling that it is going to be a looong winter here.
