best of 2011

As the days of 2011 dwindle away, I’ve been reflecting on the year that has passed.  The projects I’ve completed.  The vintage treasures that I’ve found.  And who am I kidding?  The projects I’m planning for 2012.  Bigger and better than 2011.

I officially started the blog, Circa Dee, in April 2011 to highlight my vintage finds and transformations.  Writing has kept me motivated to complete projects and follow through with my ideas no matter how out there.  I’ve found a great community here always willing to provide feedback.  Thank you for following along this year!

Without further adieu, I’d like to summarize a dozen of my favorite ways that old junk has been transformed into something totally new this year.  Afterall, this blog is about “vintage inspiration for a modern lifestyle” so let’s see what vintage goodies we’ve successfully incorporated into our lives in a new way, shall we?
