A little before and after for the kiddos out there!
This old, heavy farm table had seen better days. The paint was chipping and the style was not very desirable. But they don’t make ’em like this anymore as they say. This is a very sturdy table deserving a second chance.
Need a closer look? Ick. I stripped the flaking paint off and sanded the top.
Once that prep work was complete, I applied 2 coats of chalkboard paint to the top.
The base and legs got a vibrant paint job with pure Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Antibes Green – 2 coats followed by clear wax. It is bright!
Perfect for a kid’s playroom.
Don’t forget about the vintage calendar giveaway. One day left to enter to win. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Check it out!
