Hi guys! I am here today with some updates on local events that I am involved in and thought you may be interested in supporting…
First of all, you have probably heard me mention our neighbor, The Frock Shoppe, at Center Point Pond. We have adjacent store fronts and similar weekend hours.
Honestly, I am pretty smitten with The Frock Shoppe. They stock women’s clothing and accessories. Boutique brands that I’ve never heard of yet cannot live without! Amazing quality at remarkable prices too. They also consign vintage & designer clothing, handbags and stock locally made jewelry and accessories. I love shopping there and the fact that they’re right next door to our Brick & Mortar in Worcester, PA is awesome for me!
So why I am telling you this?
Because The Frock Shoppe’s mission is much different than many clothing boutiques. The shop’s proceeds support local charities right in our community via The Nottage Project. You’re truly shopping for a cause there. I love that!
The Frock Shoppe will be hosting their first ever Fashion Show in 2 weeks! Circa Dee is a sponsor. I have to admit I am little bit nervous about my contribution. You’ll be able to see me strutting down the catwalk for charity. Ok, I won’t be strutting at all actually but simply trying not to trip over my own 2 feet! Model, I am not!
Does Fashion Roadkill mean anything to anyone? Carrie in Sex and the City circa 2001. Yeah, that’s my fear!
However, there is an amazing lineup of models, dancers and entertainment along with a trunk show and refreshments. I am pretty excited about the event! Plus you will be able to purchase some of the featured clothing. I already have dibs on a few pieces!
The event starts at 6pm on Saturday, November 17th with a cocktail reception, followed by the runway show and a trunk show. It is located at The Community Music School at 775 West Main Street, Collegeville, PA.
Follow The Frock Shoppe on Facebook for tickets and more updates on the event.
You can also follow up with me directly to get tickets or pop in The Frock Shoppe this weekend. UPDATE: I just received word that there are FREE tickets available through November 3rd if you RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
Speaking of this weekend, we’ll at be at the season’s final Clover Market on Sunday from 10-5.
Join us as it is sure to be another packed market with over 100 vendors! Now is the time to start thinking about the holidays from decorating to gift giving! You’ll find some unique items at Clover for sure.
Stop by and say hi. You can also ask me more about the fashion show.
We’ll be at our normal location #23 in the middle of the market 12 E. Lancaster Ave in Ardmore, PA.
And that concludes my public service announcements. Have a great weekend! Happy hunting.
