But just a few days prior to Santa’s arrival we’ll be receiving a visit from…drum roll… Miss Mustard Seed!
Marian Parsons will be joining us at our Brick & Mortar shop for a book signing on
Saturday, December 22nd from 1-3 pm.
Have you read Marian’s new book yet? Inspired You is filled with tons of gorgeous images, plenty of DIY tutorials and encouragement on how to create a warm home on a budget.
I read this book cover to cover by flashlight when our power was out during the hurricane. I was hooked and couldn’t put it down! Her sewing tutorials are very approachable for a non-sewer like me. The book has me convinced to bite the bullet and learn how to sew – my new year’s resolution.
In addition, there are many inside tips on refinishing & painting furniture and shopping for vintage and antique treasures. The images show you how to put it all together to create a livable yet stylish home.
Miss Mustard Seed has been a huge inspiration to the blogging & DIY community. I had the pleasure of first meeting Marian last year. Her business was growing rapidly and I had the opportunity to source some vintage treasures for her. I was thrilled to see some of those Circa Dee finds show up in the gorgeous photos in her book! It’s kind of like 7 degrees of vintage separation or something.
As you probably know, Marian’s business has continued to grow with the development of her milk paint line and now the release of her book. I am happy to stock her book and milk paint in the shop as she’s been such an encouragement and muse.

I would love to WIN! Her book, it’s actually on my Christmas list. I have cousin who lives in PA maybe she’ll head your way for the book signing. Oh! Please come to West Palm Beach Fl. If I have to make arrangements and setup a shop (somewhere) I will just to have her book sign. My goal is to own a shop next year.
