Happy New Year!
How did you celebrate the future becoming the present? We rung in 2014 around our quaint little town.
Cape May is so festive. There is something very old world about the holidays here. Men still don tuxedos and women sparkle in sequins on New Year’s Eve in an un-ironic way. That’s just one of the many things I love about this town.
With the coming of the new year, it is time to get some new events on the calendar starting with another FREE milk paint demo at Serendipity Shops of Doylestown.
And it is approaching quickly.
Stop by next Sunday, January 12th at 1 pm to hear me talk shop regarding the magic of milk paint, how it’s mixed and all of that great stuff. This is not a hands on workshop but I encourage you to bring project questions, ‘before’ pictures, cabinet doors, whatever tickles your fancy and I’ll give you suggestions on colors and finishes.
At the last demo, we had someone bring the wood trim right off of her hutch. That was great! We really got to discuss what approach she should take in painting it (bonding agent, no bonding agent, etc.).
See you there!
