This Sunday, I will be at Serendipity Shops of Doylestown decking the halls and hosting a Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint demonstration. As always, the demo is free so come pick my brain. Let’s discuss DIY holiday gift ideas made with milk paint! This will be the last demonstration of the year held in Doylestown. I look forward to seeing you there!
Also, congratulations are in order to Joan who won the CanvasPop 16×20 framed print giveaway!
Are you fleeing the city this weekend due to all of the Pope closures? Come visit us. Cape May will be open! #popecation
We have another free milk paint demonstration scheduled for this weekend. It will take place at The West End Garage…
Don’t miss our summertime milk paint demonstration taking place this Sunday at Serendipity Shops of Doylestown. No need to register. Just show up! I’ll be waiting for you…
We’re stocked with lots of other summer goodies. Except for the little table pictured which was painted in a custom mixed blue and sold almost immediately. Don’t worry – I’ll tell you how you can paint your own and cross it off of your summer bucket list!
Some of these favorites are even on sale!
See you Sunday.
May is here! May is here!
This might be one of my favorite months in Cape May, although it is really hard to be that decisive. May brings the return of the hydrangeas, bumble bees, hot sunny days followed by cool sandy sunsets. It also brings back full-time, in-season schedules for all of my favorite stores and restaurants. This beach town is back for yet another season!
At The West End Garage, we put together a Mother’s Day window display with my favorite bentwood rocker and a vintage pram that is in pristine condition among other vintage mother and baby accessories.
The pram is priced way undervalue so if you’ve been on the hunt for one, now is a great time to scoop it up! It makes the perfect prop for a children’s boutique or baby photographer.
We have plenty of Mother’s Day gift ideas in stock so bring your mama to the beach this weekend.
Be sure to visit The West End Garage on Saturday for a milk paint demo. I’ll be there to answer questions!
Spring is just around the corner! My favorite time of year. Everyone comes out of hibernation. Daffodils begin to emerge. The days continue to get longer. We start freshening up our porches and outdoor spaces while confirming summer vacation plans. Oh the prospect of the season ahead. It is so exciting, isn’t it?
We’ve made a few plans of our own. Circa Dee is heading to Clover Market this spring. We’re keeping it small and sharing space with In With The Old at 2 of the 4 spring markets. We’ve been stashing vintage finds for Clover Market all winter long. It is going to be fantastic and I can’t wait to see YOU.
Expect to find Circa Dee and In With The Old at the season opener in Chestnut Hill on Sunday, April 12th. And the season closer on Sunday, June 7th in Bryn Mawr – note the new location. You can check out all of the market details here.
The next milk paint demonstration is scheduled for this Sunday, March 23rd at 1 pm at Serendipity Shops of Doylestown. All are welcome. No registration required. Just plain fun.
Down at The West End Garage in Cape May, we’re stocked for spring. Be sure to stop by and visit us while you’re at the beach! The West End Garage is open Friday-Sunday in March & Friday-Monday in April. Hope to see you soon.
Here we are in August. Already. How did that happen?
Well, come on in. Let’s see what’s in store…
An ever evolving collection of old and new. Heirlooms and handmade.
Can’t you just smell that dried lavender wreath? Smells like late summer.
The boxwood green sideboard is perfect for a dining room or a family room media center. Check out the iron hardware!
I just love this turn of the century oak harvest table. It is perfect!
And so are the fluffy Cape May pillows that we can’t seem to keep around for long.
We have cheerful, live plants – succulents, topiaries, terrariums.
She sells seashells by the seashore.
Ribbit. He’s a real crowd pleaser!
We’re stocked with Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint. The next free milk paint demonstration at the West End Garage in Cape May will take place on Tuesday, August 12th at 3 pm.
You’re in for a real bonus as our neighbor, Eastcote Lane, will also be demonstrating her paint line too.
Come visit us!
Well, June is here! The weather is on the rise, the days are long, the water cool and strawberries are the pick of the moment. These things will be celebrated, as they should be, on Saturday at the annual Strawberry Festival in West Cape May. Be sure to walk across the street and visit us at the The West End Garage. You might just stumble upon a free milk paint demonstration. Will you be in Cape May this weekend?
Hey there! Have you heard the news?
We’re bringing Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint to Cape May. That’s right. You can expect to find the full product line and other DIY goodies at The West End Garage.
To kick it off, I am offering a free milk paint demonstration on Saturday, May 10th at 11 am. No need to sign up. Just come as you are ready to learn what all of the hype is about. I’ll show you how to mix the paint and we’ll talk about different finishes and topcoats. This is not a “one size fits all” paint and many different finishes can be achieved. We’ll even discuss how you can use it outdoors on fences and window boxes. So feel free to bring specific project questions, before pictures, etc.
Oh and bring your mom. It’ll be Mother’s Day weekend after all! A perfect time to visit Cape May.
Actually any time is a perfect time to visit Cape May.
However, if you can’t make it on Saturday, May 10th, don’t worry. We’ll offer another demonstration in the future. And if you just can’t wait until May 10th, visit West End Garage this weekend. The paint is in stock.
May’s colors of the month are Eulalie’s Sky and Linen. The perfect pairing for a Victorian beach house, don’t you think?
