hello, chestnut hill

Clover Market spring season kicks off on Sunday in Chestnut Hill. We’ll be there!

Clover spring

I’m in the midst of packing, pricing and staging some never seen before vintage treasures.  And let me tell you, they’re fabulous!  You can expect a whole lot of whimsy this spring…nothing too serious.  Except for the Pope who is serious, indeed.  Must have.  And how about those milk glass tea party cups & saucers?

Check in on facebook and instagram later this week to see what else we’re bringing to Clover Market in Chestnut Hill.

Speaking of Chestnut Hill…

Have you heard about Serendipity Shops of Chestnut Hill yet?  It is right around the corner and we have Miss Mustard Seed’s Milk Paint in stock!  Stay tuned for pictures and details as we get settled into our new space.  In the meantime, check it out for yourself on Sunday.

Have you ever thought about taking a floral design course before? Have you cut flowers from your garden and wished that you could do more than just haphazardly plop them in a vase? Do you have any idea how you can make the cellophane wrapped supermarket bouquet look like a million bucks?

Now is your chance to learn how from an award-winning, professional floral designer!  And for the mere cost of a floral arrangement which, in turn, will be donated to our Bike MS: City to Shore team.  The funds, not the arrangement.  You get to take your floral arrangement home!  Fresh flowers and a good cause.  Does it get any better than that?

If you’re local to North Wales, PA, I hope you will consider Petal Pushers and join us for this awesome fundraiser on August 14th.  Please register in advance as space is limited.  As always, let me know if you have any questions.

P.S. Pennsylvania friends, I will be conducting a milk paint demo on Sunday, July 20th at 1 pm at Serendipity Shops of Doylestown.

Do you want to see the haul of treasures we’re bringing to Clover Market on Sunday in Chestnut Hill?

Clover Market Preview-3465

Well this is merely a sneak peek of what I could fit into one frame. I feel a bit of a Robin Hood theme going on between the emerald-green trench, the arrows and antlers. Right?

There are lots of outdoorsy spring items like the large and in charge rear bike basket, plenty of McCoy planters and some beachy accents as well like wooden and glass buoys.

So the question is, are you going to the season opener of Clover Market on Sunday? This one is located in Chestnut Hill. All the logistics and details can be found here.

Let’s zone in on a few of my favorites items here, shall we?  Check out this fantastic champagne bucket.

When I found this it was extremely tarnished.  Like completely black.  I like a little tarnish on my silver but it was so far gone that the beautiful detail around the rim couldn’t be appreciated.  Gorgeous, right?

It needs a swanky mcswankerson new home.

Did you notice the table it is on?  That cute little side table was in need of some TLC and a pop of color.  First, it received a base coat of MMSMP Trophy and a 2nd coat of MMSMP Lucketts Green.

The gray is producing such a subtle sliver of silver poking out.  After some light chipping, it was finished with antiquing wax and a bit of white wax.  This too is on the truck for Clover.

Can’t wait to see you Sunday!

P.S. Follow these tips from Philly Mag’s Shoppist on how to tackle Clover.  We certainly agree that you should stop by Circa Dee first 🙂
